At Ascot, students develop according to their needs in a welcoming, family environment. The challenging curriculum enables our students to become adaptable lifelong learners.
IB World School
As of 2022, Ascot is a 2-programme IB World School offering IB Primary Years Programme and Diploma Programme. We are currently in candidacy for the Middle Years Programme, and by 2024 will be an IB Continuum School. As an IB World School, Ascot methods of teaching encourage students to have critical thinking, research, and problem solving skills. These skills are critical in this fast-paced digital world where change is constant, and equips them with the skills they need to adapt and succeed.
Qualified Teachers
Classroom teachers are native English speakers who are required to undergo a rigorous application procedure and provide police checks, references from previous schools and multiple interviews with the school’s senior leadership team. Every teacher takes part in an annual cycle of appraisal which involves target setting, reflection and observing other teachers in the classroom. Ascot is fully committed to keeping teachers up to date with developments in learning and teaching, which will have a positive effect on every student in the school.
