The New Year opens up new hope, and new hope holds a new dream. Ascot students and teachers celebrated the Year of Dragon in the morning assembly, in which some of our Secondary students gave speeches about what the Chinese new year means to the people of China and the different ways in which they celebrate it.

The Primary children then closed the ceremony by singing traditional Mandarin songs and the loud fire crackers were a real delight for everyone. We wish everyone peace, joy and happiness throughout the coming year.
